Band International’s wholesale bentwood wedding chairs have been awarded FSC certification from the Soil Association. This means that the beechwood from Band’s chairs is sourced from sustainably managed forests in the EU.

At a time when there is considerable waste involved in the production of cheaper chairs, Band understands the importance of offering the option of responsible business. We have achieved this through

• Producing wholesale banqueting chairs sourced only from sustainably managed forests and sawmills.
• Replacing individually-wrapped chairs in plastic/bubble wrap with free, reusable stack sacks
• Cutting out local UK warehousing and its associated waste of fuel, time, space and cost. Our chairs are made to order and are delivered door to door.
• We do not buy from sweatshops and instead use reputable factories with internationally approved quality standards e.g ISO 9000. We have invested with and been buying from the same factory for nearly 20 years and have built an excellent relationship with it.

Visit our factory and you won’t find a dormitory and a bowl of rice for the workers! You will, however meet the industrious Csaba who has been leading his team through decades of woodwork; Viktoria who moves mountains to look after our customers and a team of diligent bentwood experts whose work you can but marvel at.
