Band International initially steered away from the seatpad idea for its Phantom range, as they were keen to retain the impact created by the translucent look. However one venue, Le Talbooth in Chelmsfood, Essex, insisted on buying the Banquo banquet chair with a leather seatpad, which was customised to their order. It was met with such a positive reception that Band now offers it as part of its range of wholesale banquet chairs.

Like the banquet chairs themselves, the leather seatpad is of a very high quality which is made in Italy. The cover wraps around the seat of the chair, with Velcro straps underneath. This method of fastening ensures a tight and neat finish, as well as a labour saving option for hire companies. What’s more, the leather seatpad offers an extremely comfortable finish to this wholesale banquet chair, which is already renowned for its comfortable frame.

The leather cushion also has the advantage of protecting the seat against the wear and tear of the events industry and hiding any marks or scuffs that have befallen the odd banquet chair. Whilst customers who have bought Band’s wholesale banquet chair without the seatpad have not reported any problems from a lack of protection, the seatpad acts as a safety net and back-up option.

The leather seatpad is specially designed for use on the wholesale Banquo banquet chair. Other polycarbonate models are not designed to take a cushion.
